This app is simply amazing for active stock traders. People are just sharing their ideas on stocks and sharing hot stocks all the time.

lol, what can I say.? A friend whos also a trader told me about this app. Been on a few days, love it, was trading $PQ, and some WebCop named ChicagoSean ends up suspending my account. Appears that paranoia rules here. The Moderation police are in full force Go ahead and join but just be sure not to burp, bend over, have a thought or opinion, or some CMT is going to pop out of a closet and ban you. In the end, fairly ridiculous as anyone, if they wanted I suppose, could create a gazillion gmail accounts and the same number of STwit accounts and have at it...ha Does ChicagoSean work 24/7..? Yep, thats my goal in life. Get my CMT certification and spend my days moderating a stock mssg board. Sean, back to your cubicle

ST has a dictatorship when it comes to its mods. They have rules but only enforce them on certain groups of people. If you trade penny stocks then you are considered TRASH in the eyes of these mods. They are rude and crude. If you can stomach the gestapo tactics used by these mods then maybe you will find use with this awful platform.

Good, but most stock price lags and inaccurate. Wish it was streamed more quickly.

Ive been using this app for almost a year and I absolutely love it. I just found out I can link my RobinHood account to StockTwits, so that makes it even more convenient, and best of all its 100% free!

Bug wont let me sign in with FB or Twitter.

Called a user out for pure manipulation and blatant pumping. Told everyone to watch out for him. Instead I get banned. Unacceptable, do your own DD when using this app. Clearly the moderators dont care about the accuracy of the info and saving people money.

The majority of participants in the app often do not have much experience trading. So it is GREAT for entertainment value! This is a good app to accompany some of the new free trading app platforms and the kind of folks using those resources.

Not sure why so many negatives. This is social media to learn, not trash talk like most others. Anyway I cant live without this App. It is my only source of finance besides stock charts themself. Learn so much from the experienced and helpful guys and gals on here. Youll never learn how to really be profitable watching garbage CNBC. Keep it up StockTwits. Excited for continued updates

has crashed for days, watchlist doesnt work

App was buggy. Didnt update price data and froze. Didnt do as advertised for me. Thankfully its free.

98% of the content is garbage.

Nothing works login, twitter including forgot password.

They allow positive bias, one side or the other, but dissension? Forget about it. Has no place in the free market, especially since algos can run/base sentiment on what they allow to be posted. Having said all of that...still use it.

Update: 10/06 App takes forever to pull details for a ticker; Please add following for ticker, - dividend - yield - P/E ration

Why it cannot be open in new iphone?

This is a revolutionary app that filters out all the distracting parts of normal stock trading boards.

Its a lot faster than the previous version, but this doesnt help at all because the app crashes at least once per minute of usage. Not good

The entertainment is always great too
